The short answer
What is a Korean bath ritual at home?
Korean bathing culture includes time in warm water, washing and exfoliation. This guide adapts those ideas for a home bathroom. Start with a comfortable bath or shower, cleanse and exfoliate with a light touch, then finish with body care if you want it. It is an interpretation, not a fixed historical sequence or a pre-packed kit.
For a comparison of cleansers, optional exfoliation and after-bath care, read our Korean body care routine at home, with current product examples and sources.
Step 01 · Begin with warmth
Soak or shower
A comfortably warm bath or shower is enough to begin. If you prefer a half-body or foot soak, our current bath range includes Ganghwa mugwort bath herb. Follow its preparation and timing instructions instead of relying on a general bathhouse rule.
- A full bathtub is optional.
- Choose a water temperature that feels comfortable.
- Check the pack directions before adding a bath herb.

Step 02 · Make it your own
Cleanse and exfoliate gently
Our available Purelevy set includes two soap bars and a textured bath glove. Use light pressure, particularly if this is new to you. The glove is not identified as a standalone 100% viscose Italy towel; our Italy towel guide explains that traditional tool separately.
Prefer a separate bar soap? The OSEQUE fermented herbal soap set contains three 100 g bars with yellow clay. Read the product listing and packaging for its complete formula.

Finish with body care
After bathing, choose a body care product that suits you. The shop currently offers Aromatica body oils, including a 100 ml oil and a separate set with a wooden massage tool. Check the individual listing for scents, ingredients and directions.
Skip any product that does not suit your skin or preferences. The ritual is flexible; you do not need every item on this page.

Read FAQ & SafetyDo I need a bathtub?
No. A warm shower can be the first step. The available mugwort herb is listed for half-body or foot soaking if you want a soak; follow its product directions.
Is the bath glove an Italy towel?
The Purelevy set includes a textured exfoliating glove. Its material is not confirmed as the 100% viscose fabric used in a traditional Italy towel, so we do not describe it as the same product.
How often should I exfoliate?
There is no schedule that suits everyone. Begin with light pressure, leave time between sessions, and avoid broken or irritated skin. Stop if it feels uncomfortable.
